Home Blood Pressure and Urine Monitoring

It is important to monitor blood pressure and urine in pregnancy. It helps maternity care teams know if treatment is needed and to provide it quickly. Using technology can help reduce unnecessary journeys to hospitals and clinics and support women safely at home.

The guidance below has been developed by Clinical and Technical professionals, to support maternity professionals, pregnant women and families to monitor blood pressure and urine at home.
